Hillsborough Father and Son Operating Two Businesses Out of the Same Space Prepare for Expansion

A Hillsborough father and son who are operating two separate businesses out of the same space are preparing for expansion. Levi Stecker owns CreativEdge, a laser cutting and parts fabrication company, and his father William Stecker owns Alchemy Identity, which produces metal cut art as high-end home décor. They are both currently operating out of a space at 505 Cornerstone Court in the Cornerstone Business Center, but they need more room to grow. Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate brokers Emilee Collins and Mark O’Neal represented the business center in leasing a 7,500 square foot space to the two businesses for the expansion.

“The businesses, especially Alchemy Identity, are creating new product lines and need to expand their production facilities,” said O’Neal.

Collins added that “since the Steckers have a great relationship with the Cornerstone Business Center owner, they were aware of the space being available and were eager to make the move.”

The Cornerstone Business Center is owned by Burkeshire Properties. Since the machines and equipment used by both CreativeEdge and Alchemy Identity are large, they had simply outgrown their previous space.

“The new space is ideal for light, clean manufacturing,” said William Stecker. “It offers plenty of room where we can spread out and set up processes that can operate independent of each other.”

The new location is expected to be fully operational for both businesses in late January.

“This truly is the realization of our grand dream of having a fully functional space that’s not limited in any way,” said Levi Stecker.

The website for Alchemy Identity will be up in mid-January.
